    Hello,

    When you gets the notification about the plugin update then there is lots of things that plugin update,

    e.g. if there is any little issue with the css/js file, New features added, some minor bug fixing etc.

    It’s not what I meant, by the way I found a nice plugin that allow to get changes without risk to lose them during upgrade, it’s called something like “simple css”.

    Hello,

    If you do not want use the plugin for the css, then you can use the WordPress additional css option.

    Wordpress it self provide the additional css option in the customizr if you want to add the css from the admin area. So not need to carry css plugin for that and it remain there when you update the WordPress.

    Actually what you suggest doesn’t work for your plugin css, cause sometimes they’re loaded after the page’s css, maybe. In any case it doesn’t work for every plugin.

    Hello,

    It is the default wordpress features and it should work for whole the site content.

    Confirm you are going to this section,

    Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS.

    Try to add the CSS in this section.
